COMPANY PROFILE
Founded in1983
Established in 1983 by Dr. Fred Parrett as
a consultancy service the business has developed into a variety of technical areas.
The original consultancy continues on chemical and industrial topics, but there is a
growing range of equipment developments and services. We cnow offer our own dust
suppression system (Xfoam) and dust monitoring equipment and services.
A major development in the last 12 years has been the MicroBio range of Bioaerosol
Samplers, for monitoring of airborne micro-organisms. These passed validation tests in a
UK government sponsored programme, and are now available through a network on distributors
throughout the world.
Experience with micro-processors and computer linked instruments has lead to the
development of other devices. A simple Dispensing Pump - the Easifill to facilitates the
filling of agar plates for the MicroBio Samplers, and has a much wider use in all
dispensing applications. A new Automatic Colony Counter with Image Analysis software, a
simple Pen Colony Counter (with PC serial Interface) , and a miniature temperature
data-logger were introduced in 2001.
